Calendar for 2025-2026
The 2025–2026 teaching year runs from Aug. 18, 2025, to Aug. 7, 2026.
There will be no regular lessons during the following breaks:
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24–29
• Winter Break: Dec. 23 – Jan. 3
• Spring Break: March 16–21
• Memorial Week: May 25–30
Lessons will resume on August 17, 2026
Teaching Year Structure
The teaching year spans 46 weeks, with annual tuition covering 40 weeks of lessons.
This allows for flexible scheduling and extra lesson opportunities.
Rescheduling (Make-Up) Policy
Lessons can usually be rescheduled if notice is given in advance.
Please note that lessons missed without notice or canceled at the last minute are typically not eligible for rescheduling.
2025–2026 Annual Tuition
The annual tuition is based on 40 lesson weeks per year:
• Weekly 45-minute lessons: $1,740
• Weekly 60-minute lessons or twice-weekly 30-minute lessons: $2,320
Included in the tuition are private lessons.
Not included are books, audition fees, and group lesson fees which are based on the number of students per group.
Tuition for FaceTime lessons is the same as in-person lessons.
Payment Plans
1. Ten Monthly Installments – due the 15th of each month, Aug. through May.
• Weekly 45-minute lessons: 10 payments of $174
• Weekly 60-minute or twice-weekly 30-minute lessons: 10 payments of $232
2. Four Installments – due Aug. 15, Nov. 15, Feb. 15, and May 15.
• Weekly 45-minute lessons: 4 payments of $435
• Weekly 60-minute or twice-weekly 30-minute lessons: 4 payments of $580
3. Two Installments – due Aug. 15 and Jan. 15.
• Weekly 45-minute lessons: 2 payments of $870
• Weekly 60-minute or twice-weekly 30-minute lessons: 2 payments of $1,160
Annual Administrative Fee
An annual administrative fee of $24 per family covers, among other things, the shipping and tax on books I purchase for students, as well as the cost of materials prepared and printed at the studio.
Extra Lessons
The cost for extra lessons – beyond the 40 lesson weeks – is as follows:
• 30-minute lesson: $24 each
• 45-minute lesson: $36 each
• 60-minute lesson: $48 each
Lesson Formats
Beginning and transfer students take two 30-minute lessons per week to help reinforce foundational skills.
Intermediate and advancing students typically take one 45- or 60-minute lesson per week, allowing for deeper development at their skill level.
Extra lessons are available for dedicated students preparing for competitions or auditions, with a focused approach to performance readiness.
Occasional coaching sessions are available and billed separately from regular lessons.
The fee for a 60-minute coaching session is $70
Students who cannot commit to weekly lessons but want more than occasional coaching can sign up for a five-lesson package. The cost for a five-lesson package is as follows:
• 30-min lessons: $150
• 45-min lessons: $225
• 60-min lessons: $300
All new students begin with a 5-lesson trial period, with either two 30-minute lessons per week or one 45-minute lesson per week, depending on their level.
Lesson times
Lessons are available for scheduling Monday through Friday between 3:00 and 7:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Students are asked to complete a Lesson Scheduling Worksheet indicating their availability.
