With over three decades of teaching experience, I absolutely love what I do! I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds, across all ages and skill levels. Each student is important to me, regardless of their skill level or perceived “talent”. My only requirement is that a student has the desire to learn and improve. I tailor each lesson to the individual, focusing on technical and musical skills, memorization, performance skills, theory, and history. I absolutely cherish helping my students figure out what works and what doesn’t when it comes to playing the piano.

I offer personalized piano lessons for enthusiastic and motivated students.

The curriculum includes:

  • Piano literature
  • Technique (the study of motion)
  • Ear training (audiation)
  • Memorization
  • Theory and history
  • Practicing and performance skills

I emphasize a natural, injury-free technique and thorough mastery of all materials. Serving the Greater Manhattan, Kansas area since 1994, the studio is conveniently located in Lee Mill Heights.

And the best teacher does all of the above, depending on who needs what at which moment! – Sibylle Kuder
